The headline of the latest issue of the
Loughborough Echo tells us how some local residents in the Graicedieu area of the town have been told that they have not been properly sorting their rubbish.
Was it right for the council to refuse to take their bags away??? Or should the lazy residents get their act together?

good point. not sure how much waste actually goes to landfill anyway
I see that they are taking all of the bins away now, and refusing to collect them every week. Where does all of our council tax go, thats what I want to know????
The problem with Charnwood borough council is that they do not have the facilities to recycle some items that clearly state they are recyclable, the biggest one (in my humble opinion) being tetra-paks. Many people must get through at least 5 of these a week, but the council insists they go to landfill, refusing collection of bags containing them...anyone see something wrong in that?
